Taxes

Clark Jolley believes our taxes are too high. He has been a consistent proponent of lower taxes for Oklahomans—and for taxpayers all across America. From a personal tax code that discourages savings and work to corporate tax rates that destroy jobs and makes us less competitive with the rest of the world, our tax code is broken and Americans are paying the price.

In the State Senate, Clark voted for every decrease of the Oklahoma income tax that this state has seen in the last eight years. He also voted for lower property taxes, lower taxes on business, and eliminating the unfriendly franchise tax for almost all businesses.

Clark’s record on lowering taxes is strong and unwavering --
Voted For Lower Income Taxes: Clark has voted for every decrease of the Oklahoma income tax that this state has seen in the last eight years. He has successfully fought to reduce the Oklahoma personal income tax rate by 25%. Voted for Lower Propery Taxes. “I agree with Milton Friedman, the recipient of the Alfred Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics: ‘I am favor of cutting taxes under any circumstances and for any excuse, for any reason, whenever it’s possible.”
