Clark Jolley Statement on Congressional Budget Office Report on Loss of Jobs Due to ObamaCare

Campaign Release

State Senator Clark Jolley, Candidate for U.S. Congress, released the following statement on the report issued this week by the bipartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) on the devastating impact of ObamaCare on jobs:

"The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report this week that shows the devastating impact of ObamaCare on jobs. ObamaCare will cost 2 million jobs by 2017 -- climbing up to 2.3 million jobs in 2021 and 2.5 million jobs by 2024. According to the CBO, most of that impact will be felt among lower-wage workers—all due to ObamaCare’s negative impact on our economy.

"That’s why I led the fight to put a State Constitutional Amendment in place to protect Oklahomans from ObamaCare and any individual mandate. And why I’ll continue to fight in the U.S. Congress to ensure that Oklahoma's health care decisions will be left to the people individually themselves and not to a bureaucrat in Washington, D.C."
